Employee wanted for our food truck business 🍔🚚

We are now looking for a new employee for our food truck business. We have been working with street food since 2014 and we dare to say that we have become quite good at it by now.

Today, we operate two food trucks that are running year-round. The business consists of lunch services, private and public events, catering, and other assignments. During the winter months, the focus is mainly on lunch operations, while summer brings a higher workload in connection with the event season. Therefore, we want to expand the team for the summer.

About the position

The position is a 75% employment over the year, with clear annual variation in working hours. This means fewer working hours during the winter months (about 30–40 hours/week) and more hours during the summer when events kick off.

We are looking for someone who has a driver's license and relevant experience. Sending out a lot of food in a short time can be stressful – so it is an advantage if you are the type who finds it a bit fun to “sit in the mess” when the pace is high.

Our food trucks are currently based in Södra Sandby outside Lund, but we are looking for new premises in Malmö. Therefore, you need to be able to get to our headquarters on your own, preferably by car.

The work

During service and sales, we usually work with 2–4 people, but solo work occurs in the form of preparation, cleaning, and other tasks before and after service.

Who are you?

• You have experience from restaurants, food trucks, or similar businesses

• You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are stress-resistant

• You are self-driven but work well in a team

• You have a driver's license (requirement)

You don't necessarily need to have worked with fish n’ chips, but experience in similar businesses is important.
